Addenbrookes Hospital
You blow on the dandelion seedlings and you make a fervent wish... This hospital in Cambridge takes art seriously. There are paintings, sketches and drawings along many corridors. There is even an artist in residence. And a dedicated web site too.
Addenbrooke’s Arts enhances the hospital environment for patients, visitors and staff, by lifting the spirit and bringing pleasure through an innovative, stimulating and engaging arts programme including visual and performance arts . That is what the blurb says.
This particular wall painting is in a waiting room of the Neurophysiology department. You wait there to have an EEG done.
